A New Year - A New Ruff Event


It is a new year and that brings new Ruff Gaming Forza events and championships!

First up on the Ruff Gaming calender is a new event - The Ruff Hairdresser 500 GP. Some of you might remember a gamernight race we held a few years ago that featured the beast that is the Chevy Spark and all 8 drivers used the same car from the club garage. But not only is this a small car that might be owned by a "Hairdresser" the car in question is bright pink with fairies decorating the outside of the car! Yes real macho stuff! lol. All drivers for this event will be once again all using the same car from the club garage - the Chevy Spark in its famous pink fairy colours. But this time the car has been tinkered with boosting it up to an S class - It will be in the club garage for all drivers to access before the race. The track we will be using is the Top Gear test track (same as the original Ruff race). We will have full damage on as normal for a Ruff Gaming Forza event. To go with the fun and chaos of this event there will be no qualifying and will be set to a random grid. There will be a 2 lap warm up at the beginning just to check connections are all ok. The length of this race will be announced on the night but will be around the 40 minute mark.

This event will be using Forza 4 on the Xbox 360!

The Hairdresser 500 GP will take place on Tuesday 7th Jan starting at 10pm and to sign up post below to book your place.

This event is more about fun than our more serious racing and the rules regarding contact will be less enforced. We will accept more of a bumper car style race but please be aware that damage is on and it will be very easy to wreck your car ending your race early. This event is open to all Ruff Gamers no matter of your skill level!

There is no prize for this event but the winner will earn a place in the Hallowed Ruff Gaming Hall of Fame!

* Oh and a note to new drivers - memorise the route on the Top Gear Test Track, coz if memory serves me correctly Hairdressers like knocking cones out of the way (as well as each other)  Rolling Eyes

Oh Yess!! This is more about chaos then serious racing! Thought it would be a fun event to start the year off with the doom and gloom of the weather and going back to work!

A massive thanks to all the drivers who took part in tonights Ruff Forza Event - The Ruff Hairdresser 500!

After the gremlins at the beginning of the night trying to get everybody into the lobby (sorry to Wackybar and PGtips for failing to get them at all) we finally got going with the chaos and it just ended up in true madness! But fun with it.

A big well done to Darkestfrost for surviving the craziness and taking 1st place! He earns a place in the Ruff Gaming Hall of Fame!


Thanks guys for making it another great night!
