Ruff Racing is back with a new single race event around the Bathurst!
Track: Bathurst Full
Car: #1 Toll Holden Racing Team Commodore VE
Class: S (800) (Tuning and Upgrading allowed up to S Class 800 - Not above)
Easiest Braking Allowed: ABS ON
Easiest Steering Allowed: Normal
Racing Line: Driver Preference
Stability/TCS: Driver Preference
Gearing: Driver Preference
Damage: Cosmetic Only (Race) Off (Qualifying)
Collisions: ON (Race) Ghost (Qualifying)
We have gone for an Australian theme to kick things off! The car is a 600+Bhp 5L V8 monster that shouts as it flies round the track, you’re generally going to hear it before you can see it!! Whilst we have restricted the Car/Class, you are allowed to tune and upgrade the car however you want, as long as it still sits as a S(800) class car! We also love to see the various custom paint jobs and we are hoping to do a highlights video of the race, alongside the usual race report, so you’re going to want to make your car stand out in the crowd!!
The race will be 20 laps long, preceded by a 5 lap qualifying session. Whilst the damage is set to cosmetic (we wanted to ease people in nice and gently) we still expect clean races! The usual race stewards (Iceman D18 and Ruffian Stew) will be there to deal with any incidents and if we feel a driver has broken the rules they will be demoted and possibly excluded from future events. We want the emphasis on fun but clean racing so you have been warned!
Qualifying
The way qualifying works is that there is going to be 5 laps and you have to set your fastest time within those 5 laps. Forza will always rank clean laps faster than ‘dirty’ laps so keep it on the asphalt!
At the start of qualifying the grid order will be set to ‘RANDOM’ and there will be a 3 second delay between cars. The end of Race timer is set to 10 minutes, giving all drivers plenty of time to get their laps in!
Once the qualifying has finished, everyone must stay in the lobby, whilst the settings are adjusted for the race, otherwise you will have to start from the back of the grid!
This event is open to all members of Ruff gaming and places will be given on a first come first served basis. Don’t worry if you aren’t the best driver….you can’t be worse than Ruffian Stew!
The winner of the event will gain a place in the hallowed Ruff Gaming Hall of Fame!
