At long last the 1st Round of the Ruff Golf Cup is now open. Sorry for the delay this week in starting the Competition but it is full steam ahead as we can now all head to our 1st course!

The 1st course of 18 holes that will be the battleground for our 1st round will be St Andrews (Old Course).

To get your score listed here on our Ruff Cup Leader Board all you have to do is play a standard multi-player match of 18 holes at St Andrews with 1 of our Refs that are listed below. Even if the Ref has played his round of golf for this round he may still play again to witness the scores of other players (the refs score is the 1st round of 18 holes played and all other scores will not be counted).

Once you have played your round of golf post what score you got round the 18 holes in and I will then place you on the Ruff Leader Board - I will check all scores of players with the refs.

Ok as for the which Golfer do I use? question I have decided to say everybody picks the same golfer from the game. For this round everybody plays as Tiger Woods.

The top 9 golfers on the Leader Board go through to the 2nd Round and everybody that is position 10th or lower goes out of the competition. So to make the Ruff Cut you need to be 9th or higher!

So contact one of the listed refs on here, twitter or over Xbox Live to get your round of golf set up soon as possible!

There is no deadline to get your score in by but the sooner the better but I won't give you forever so head to the fairway soon as possible!

Which difficulty setting?

There is a number of setting including difficulty tee and pin location weather etc. More details would be handy. I would also hope you have told darkest no heckling when putting. LOL.

I may have a little go at this, if I can fit it guys.

I would say on settings, I would just leave everything default,that maybe an easier option.

Plenty of room for you Toz - Great to have you in the comp (I have heard your a demon on the golfing course!)

Your right about the settings I have basically gone for all the standard defult options which are listed above now.

Bulldog and I just played our round the results were:

X Bulldog -19 with a round of 53

The Mehwarrior2 -12 with a round of 60

Both of us chipped in from the fairway at different holes including mine at the 18th!

Well not sure if my schedule will let me take part, but I for a bit of a test run, had 1 round on st Andrews, thing is, was difault settings, but with my golfer so probably at a bit of a disadvantage, but I shot a 55, did take pics, may stick them up later.

Butmaybe just for fun for me guys, sorry about that.

Just did my round. Somehow I managed to shot a 58 -14. Well pleased with that. Would have been better if I didn't shank a couple into some horrible bunkers.

Me and LittlrManLFC just completed our round and scores as follows:

Ok well 1st off I have just had some great fun having my round of golf for Round 1 with MickyB, Carson and WackyBar. I really enjoyed that - cheers lads.

Now is the painful bit with the scores lol Yes yes I know maybe I just had the worst round ever! lol I got +1 with a round of 73! Ouch! lol Yes I know I am out with a score like that but still I enjoyed my golf career while it lasted!

The scores were -

Carson -17 with a round of 55
MickyB -14 with a round of 58
WackyBar -12 with a round of 60

No second round for me - did pretty well til I imploded on 15 and 16 with 2 bogeys in a row (including an out of bounds at the 16th )
