Round 3 - The Grand Final

So we have our 3 players for the grand final of Ruff's Golf Cup - Wackybar, Carson & TheMehWarrior. Well done to all 3 players for battling through against some very tough oppenents in the earlier rounds of the Cup. Now it is time to see who will step up and take the title and the 1 month Xbox Live Gold Code prize!

The final will be 1 set of 18 holes on a course that I will announce on the day of the match. All that is left to do is organise when the final is to be held which I will be the Ref for this final. If the 3 golfers could post below when is good for you to play I can get it all set up and ready to go. Would this friday (8th) evening coming be any good for you 3?

Any night suits me except Saturday I think. Friday night after 8 is good if Friday is the choice.

I'm guessing we'll find out golfers & course on the night ?

Yep sorry I know which course and golfer that is to be used but I will keep the info under wraps until the day. Sorry I like being mean hehe

So the Ruff Golf Cup has now come to an end and after lots of fantastic golf over 3 rounds we have our Champion from the 20 players that started - Carson1912!. The final was between TheMehWarrior, Wackybar and Carson1912. The course that I chose for the battleground for the grand final was the tough 18 holes of Augusta. Both MehWarrior and Wackybar put up a good fight but Carson had it all under control from the 1st tee and never looked back really. All 3 players played some cracking shots and also all 3 ended up in the sand more than once - oh and Wackybar went paddling in the water on the 16th hole!


So a massive well done to Carson for taking the title for 2011 and along with the title he wins himself 1200 ms points code. I hope everybody that entered the competition enjoyed it as much as I did.
