I've not done any multiplayer on this, with regards to car choice, is there any restrictions? I don't even know what the game offers tbh!!

No restcritions, you can pick any car you like from the WRC list of cars

Darkestfrost has chosen the tracks for each round - Round 1 will be held in Monte Carlo and the stages will be announced very soon. The full list of all the rounds and stages will be posted very soon too.
