With Codemasters releasing the game F1 2010 on the Xbox 360 I have decided to run a Ruffian's Of Gaming Competition based on this game.

The release date of this game is on Friday 24th September and the competition will start on Sunday 10th Oct 2010.

I haven't finalised the details on how the comp will run but it will be mainly time trial based with some racing thrown in.

We will be having a slight twist to the Comp this time round making it different from the past Forza and Race Pro comps that we have run before. The twist will be just like in F1 we will have 2 man teams. There will be 2 Championships to fight for - The Drivers Championship and the Team Championship. How the team side of things will work out I will annouce nearer the time. Don't worry about having to find a race partner - I will be making the teams up once everybody has entered the Comp. I will ofcourse keep the top drivers apart from each other (DarkestStig, LongJohnMoss and Faceinthehill to name a few).

There will be prizes and R.O.G points to won which both will be annouced near the start date.

It doesn't matter on your skill level all drivers welcome!

Ok guys just to let you know I will be posting the teams up this Weds night and then on Thurs I will be posting up the Competition rules, points and system here on the site!

How long will each event last? Won't be able to play until sometime in October.

We will be starting about the 8th of Oct but not sure on the details yet. As for the length of each round again I haven't totally got that sorted yet.

I have started a thread for any ideas you guys have on this comp.

That's cool I was worried I might miss the first round but I'll be back by then.

I've never really been into racing games but enjoyed my first play of F1 so much that I could be converted!
