Eurogamer 2014 Who's Going?

It's that time of year again where I post regarding Eurogamer 2014.

Once again it is at Earl's Court from the 25th-28th September 2014. Tickets have been 'levelled' in price across the 4 days at £20 for Early Bird (10am entry) or £17.50 for entry at 11am across all 4 days. There is also a discount if you are a Virgin Media Customer (http://www.egxlondon.net/tickets). Ticket's went on sale today but generally sell pretty quickly, so don't miss your chance!

As usual there should be a few of us there, we generally meet for breakfast and then head to the Expo around 11.30am once the queues die down a little. It's always a good laugh and you can finally put a face (granted it's an ugly one) to the voices on the mic! We always try and get a team picture at some point in the day too! Something to put on postcards....preferably to people you ain't too fond on hearing from.

I will once again be attending on the Saturday with Lauren.

So if you think you're going to be there, just post below and what day you are going down etc and we will get the arrangements sorted out.

just too far away for me to go on my own, Birmingham, no worries but London is a bit of an issue

Ticket purchased for Saturday.

Me, Em and Tom will be there for the Ruff breaky and Expo on the Sat

Just bringing this thread back to life with just under a month to go to eurogamer!

Please can you spread the word of this thread because we might need to find another cafe for breakfast if there is more of us than last year as it's not the biggest haha!

Forgot to mention in the original post, for those that are heading down but aren't meeting for breakfast we will sort a time and place closer to the time for a group photo of the Ruff Gaming rabble. This will more than likely get arranged beforehand as once you are anywhere near Earl's court the phone signals go crazy.

Ahhh man really want to go, but working those days maybe have to wait this i53 insomnia gaming festival

I found my post from last year....

Just thought I'd post people a few little helpfully directions/streetview for those that want to come to the cafe in the morning!

The cafe is called Zama Zingo Cafe:



And from the front of Earl's Court (Which is opposite Earl's court tube station) you just have to walk round the left of Earl's court and then across the entrance to the car park, across the bridge staying on the opposite side of the road to West Bromwich Tube station, follow that road down past the pub and cross the road and its there!



Or the other alternative is meet outside Earl's court at the front and walk to the cafe en masse... I'm easy either way considering my hotel is about a minutes walk....

What time everybody planning on meeting up?

Me, Tom and X Bulldog are planning to meet outside Earls Court before the Breaky meet up at 9:30am if anybody will be around then and thought maybe have breakfast at 10am? 


Oh and if anybody is after a spare ticket for the Saturday I have one as Emma isn't able to come now. Message here or via Twitter if you know anybody for the ticket

I'm at the same hotel as last year and it's pretty much across the road from the cafe so I'm pretty easy as to what time we meet and stuff.

Just thought meet up outside from 9:30 til 10am then in the cafe at 10am so we don't have to rush and it's only once a year we get to meet up so didn't want to waste the time.

If people want earlier than that then that is no problem I can be there anytime.

Anybody up for grabbing something to eat after the Expo?

Sounds good to me and I am up for the eating after...no rush to get to an airport with or without satnav this year

I'll meet you guys outside Earls Court stew, then go for breakfast. As for the evening I'll go for some food nearby and then whatever I'm easy.

Me and gandy and dark are all coming to the breakfast so we will also meet you at Earls Court before then take it from there. Not sure about food after but would like to join.

Me and Lauren are up for food afterwards, probably better tbh so I avoid the traffic! We will meet you all outside Earl's court at 9.30am

Has anyone had any idea's where we could go for food round there? If we could keep near earls court that would be better because I'll be parked at the hotel and I'm assuming Ruff will be parked on the Earl's court car park. Now I've got no problem moving if we have to but I'd prefer to leave my car there if possible.

Also, where do you suggest we meet in Earl's court if anyone isn't going for breakfast and so we can get a Ruff Gaming crew picture?

I think Darkest mentioned a Gourmet Burger Kitchen not to far away on foot if anybody fancies that

That main road at the other side of Earl's Court Tube Station has quite a few places on to eat I think. The GBK is on there I think too!
