As it stands there are relatively few Player v Player matches, but to be sure of your match I would suggest you look at your schedule and make sure you have added anyone you play as a friend on Xbox live so you can arrange when you are going to play the match.

Can I ask again that - if possible - we increase the quarter length. 3 minutes is very short, you are going to get one decent drive a quarter at that length. I would suggest at least 4 and preferably 6.

ps Wacky looks like the "luckiest" one - he has 6 PvP games in the regular season, me - I play all CPU until week 14 (not counting pre-season).

I thought I couldn't change settings once we started but I've just looked and I can! I'll change the quarter length to 5 mins so we get a nice meaty 20 minute game.

Hopefully we get a good few into the playoffs, would be nice to have an all ruff Superbowl!

Well my pre season went well.....at least I didn't delay the inevitable first loss haha

Ok I made my preseason debut (delayed after I couldn't make the week 1 fixture) and as I predict a loss! But I was expecting to get thumped I only lost 10-7! Yes that's right I actually scored a touchdown!!! 

I still haven't got a clue what I'm doing but enjoyed bumbling my way through my 1st fixture!!

Got to say having played against Wackybar for this weeks fixture (who deserved the win) the game feels so much different in PVP. Adding in that human factor, makes for a much more enjoyable game.

The AI is a swine for making perfect interceptions all the time and making those impossible passes/tackles, but with another human, mistakes can be made!

Looking forward to more PVP games.

Quick message from me -

I'm off on holiday until April 19th so Stew has temporary commmisioner rights!

Weeks still advancing Monday and Thursday nights so make sure to get your games played and I will see you when I return.

If anyone has any games against the Patriots....unfortunately my Madden will not load on my xbox one. EA are looking into it because I've got it through Access and it only seems to be Madden that isn't working.

So for the time being these games will be simmed. If possible Stew/Meh, can you kick me out the Franchise? I understand that Patriots are one of the best teams on the game and wouldn't want people losing out on points because my games have to be Simmed? I get the feeling these isn't going to be a quick solution to this so I'd rather not skew the points etc.

Silly question from me but 10hours free? Isn't it unlimited being part of the EA access not just a trial?

You could very well be right, i just presumes you would have a limit so that it encourages you to buy the game

EA access allows you to play the games for as long as you subscribe to the service. Its only new games that aren't in the vault that you get a 10hour limit on.

If you have EA Access - ie paid the subscription, it is "free"...in the vault, otherwise you will get a time ticker every time you start it counting down your trial.

I've just had an update from EA regarding the issues I've been having...

Basically they have looked into everything they can think of regarding why it keeps dash boarding once the game loads and the only solution they have is that there must be something wrong with the coding for this specific game download on my specific console. They think it's just pure coincidence that something between my console and this game isn't compatible. They did suggest that buying a 'hard' copy of the game MIGHT fix the issue but because there are certain bit's of information downloaded for the disc version anyway they didn't want to make any guarantee's.

They have refunded my EA access 12 month's subscription for the inconvenience but the only guaranteed fix will be to buy a new Xbox One!

So unfortunately I'm going to have to drop out the competition as I'm not buying a new console and not going to spend my money on the game if it's not certain to work.

Meh,

Can you remove me from the competition, as you are the franchise leader? I just don't want the results to get skewed because of how Patriots rank in the game!

Played my gameweek 16 last night against the Arizona Cardinals (CPU) last night and it was a cracking game - tough though! For once I managed to put up a good defensive game in and it was tied 0-0 right until the last quarter when we both scored a field goal a piece! 


It went 3-3 into overtime when I grabbed a interception then ran half the pitch and scored a sudden death touch down! Very pleased with my play for a change!

As the Divisional Playoffs take place it would appear that the Three Amigos (see any Ruff Racing event if you have no idea what I am talking about) are significantly better at Grid Iron than they are at driving.

My Atlanta Falcons have reached the NFC Conference Championship game with a 17-3 win over the (CPU) Detroit Lions and they will face the winner of the mouth watering match up between my fellow Amigos as pgt1ps' San Francisco 49ers clash with Wackybars' Philadelphia Eagles.

Mehwarrior's Pittsburgh Steelers have reached the AFC Conference game with a 21-7 win over CoyoteCub's Houston Texans, and will face the winner of the (CPU) Buffalo Bills v the seemingly unstoppable New England Patriots - CPU controlled Iceman D18's former team.

Still a way to go to see who will be crowned Ruff Rookie League Champions - although I'm not going to bet against the CPU - and NO Ice you don't get in the Hall of Fame if the Patriots win
