A close game with more or less the same amount of chances for both teams.
Although Ireland feel they should have won it or at least earned a draw.

Ireland missed two sitters before Sean St Leg-end I mean Ledger gave away a silly penalty which ultimately lead to the Italians coming out on top.

I was panicking at 1-0 and the cross bar being rattled. Just about got through it

Managed to fit all 3 games in today and struggled a lot more than the points tally shows

Very close game - scored with a header from a corner, about my only chance of the game. Very unlucky Mike I think the star rating of the teams had more to do with it than anything as you dominated posession.

Russia 1-1 Spain

Took a nice early lead but, just like the current England team I took my foot off the gas and got punished late on in the game by a great headed goal

Ok Norway has just had their opening game in Group C against the mighty Germany and somehow managed to grab a 1-0 victory! It was a smash and grab with Norway scoring in the 90th minute!

I have to say DaveAVFC was very unlucky in the match as he hit the post and came close more times than Norway did!

Both teams hit the woodwork and both missed guilt edged chances.

Draw was probably a fair result.

ps...my hands have never sweated so much playing a game.

Sweden 0 - 2 Greece

Tougher game than results shows. For many periods Greece couldn't string a pass together but 2 one on ones with the keeper resulted in a 2-0.

Greece couldnt find the net and the pressure was wasted by a Norway goal from a set piece.

France 3 - 0 Croatia

After a cagey 70 mins in with France snatched a goal just after half time, Croatia went all out and payed for it with 2 late goals against them.

Closer than results showed, good game.
